چکیده
The wide application of advanced high strength steels with specific in the automotive industry can significantly reduce energy consumption and contribute to carbon neutrality. Accurate prediction ductile fracture behavior under complex stress states is great significance for its automobile industry. In this study, QP980 states, covering shear, uniaxial tension, plane strain investigated by conducting hybrid experiment simulation. pressure-coupled Drucker yield function chosen characterize effect on yielding QP980, considering accuracy compared von Mises function. Failure limit modelled five uncoupled criteria (Brozzo, Oh, Rice-Tracey, Ko-Huh, DF2012). To improve numerical accuracy, parameters constitutive model are optimized using inverse engineering approach. predicted results experimental load-stroke curves onset fracture. comparison indicates that error DF2012 criterion lower than those other four criteria. addition, greatly improved engineering.

The 3-D Computational Modeling of Shear-Dominated Ductile Failure in Steel
This paper presents recent advances in the computational analysis of the failure mechanisms in high-strength steel. Computational issues are described regarding modeling of the geometry, distribution, and material behavior of the dispersed phases present in the microstructure of steel. The investigation of the failure mechanisms using computational cell model methodology in two and three dimens...
متن کاملDuctile Failure in High Strength Steel Sheets
Developments in computer-aided engineering and the rapid growth of computational power have made simulation-driven process and product development efficient and useful since it enables detailed evaluation of product designs and their manufacturing processes. In the context of a sheet metal component, it is vital to predict possible failure both during its forming process and its subsequent usag...
متن کاملEffect of Constraint on Ductile Crack Growth and Ductile-Brittle Fracture Transition of a carbon Steel
Ductile-brittle fracture transition was investigated using compact tension (CT) specimens from -70 o C to 40 o C for a carbon steel. Large deformation finite element analysis has been carried out to simulate the stable crack growth in the compact tension (CT, a/W=0.6), three point-point bend (SE(B), a/W=0.1) and centre-cracked tension (M(T), a/W=0.5) specimens. Experimental crack tip opening di...
متن کاملProposals for a Failure Criterion Applicable to Discontinuous Rocks
The existing failure criteria to evaluate discontinuous rocks are predominatly based on the relations between principal stresses at failure. None of the criteria has a direct reference to the magnitude of deformation as a major parameter in rock Several reasons are identified indicating that the selection of peak stress as a major parameter, which is obtained through the evaluation of a failure...
متن کاملInfluence of Strain History on Ductile Failure of Steel
Notched tensile bars of a high strength structural steel were loaded to void coalescense. The resuIts show that the damage curve determined using radially loaded specimens is not valid for specimens under nonradial loading. The results of the experiments with different load histories of notched tensile bars show, that a single parameter criterion like a damage parameter is not sufficient to des...
